Some of you may now know that we have been transported back to Brighton today thanks to an incubator coming free and the fact that Archie was deemed stable enough to travel. This, I suppose, is great news since we are now able to return to some sort of normality, although we are constantly reminded of the frailty of the poor little mans condition.
By all accounts he has done very well in his first week, avoiding infection, etc, and we are very happy that he made the journey without complaint - he is sure to have the same desire to travel that Sarah and I have.
We start the week tomorrow with the first doctors round for Archie in his new home and then I am back to work to try and take my mind off things for a while. Sarah bless her will be in and out expressing milk as she goes so that when Archie has the strength and inclination he can drink and become a bigger little man.
Thankyou all for your support, flowers and kind words. We will keep the updates coming. In the mean time enjoy some new piccies of him.
